🌊 The Battle For Florida Is On 🌊

GM Everyone,

As of today, we’re just over two months away from the November elections, which will feature critical ballot initiatives across several states to implement adult-use cannabis. Amendment 3 in Florida stands out as the most notable—and arguably the most pivotal—for the entire industry. It’s time to crank up the volume, folks. If you’re a Florida native, now’s the moment to do everything in your power to support this initiative. And if you’re a Florida MMTC operator, it’s time to rally your patients and employees and make some noise.

We have a war to win.

Nextleaf Solutions Ltd. has just dropped its financial results for Q3 2024, and it’s clear they’re riding some momentum. The company raked in $4.01 million in gross revenue—a 50% year-over-year surge that’s turning heads. Net revenue followed suit, clocking in at $3.05 million, marking a 37% bump compared to the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $725,339, showing that Nextleaf isn't just growing—it's growing profitably.

Let’s talk highlights. First up, the company maintained its debt-free status, which, is like holding a golden ticket. That financial flexibility has allowed Nextleaf to continue innovating, deepening its market share, and striking new commercial partnerships that are paying off. The gross margin hit 29%, underscoring that the company’s cost control and pricing strategies are on point.

On the product front, Nextleaf isn’t slowing down. They’ve launched 10 new products this quarter, including three new vape SKUs, three softgel SKUs, and more under their Glacial Gold and High Plains brands. And these aren’t just any products—they’re helping Nextleaf maintain top positions in British Columbia’s competitive market, with Glacial Gold softgels leading the charge.

Sales are on fire too. Record numbers rolled in from Ontario and Alberta, thanks to new product offerings and expanded distribution channels. This is more than just a flash in the pan—Nextleaf’s field sales and marketing initiatives are clearly gaining traction.

Emma Andrews, the Interim CEO, summed it up perfectly: “We’re entering a new phase of our long-term growth strategy. Building equity through consumer brands takes time, but our Q3 results show the incremental progress made in a few short months, and the exponential potential ahead as we continue to scale.” In other words, Nextleaf is playing the long game, and they’re in it to win it.

Looking ahead to Q4, Nextleaf plans to double down on its momentum with new product launches, including innovative offerings like Glacial Gold CBN

10:10 Softgels and more under their Miracle Valley brand. They’re also investing in upgraded infrastructure and digital marketing initiatives to keep the growth engine humming.

With a comprehensive Commercial Update on the horizon, Nextleaf is gearing up to share more insights into their market strategy and SKU performance. For a company that’s already setting the bar high, the next chapter looks promising indeed.

Rep. Lois Frankel Says #YesOn3

Rep. Lois Frankel (D-FL) has officially endorsed Florida's Amendment 3, a ballot initiative to legalize marijuana, after previously expressing uncertainty. Frankel, who has supported federal marijuana legalization in the past, stated that she now backs the measure, recognizing that "safe, lab-tested marijuana will save lives and put an end to outdated laws" that disproportionately harm people for minor cannabis offenses. This endorsement is a significant boost for the initiative, which aims to legalize marijuana but does not include provisions for home cultivation due to constitutional constraints. While support for Amendment 3 is strong, recent polls show it hovering over the 60% threshold required for passage in Florida, with the measure facing mixed reactions from other political figures, including opposition from Governor Ron DeSantis.
